Lecture: Koichi Kobayashi
A presentation about a study and a proposal linking advanced planning for disaster prevention with landscape architecture.
The presentation is based on Kobayashi’s experience with recovery and advance planning for Hanshin (Kobe) and Rikuzentakata (Iwate), in Japan.
Koichi Kobayashi is a landscape architect with 40 years of experience also as urban designer and environmental planner. He is honorary professor and senior research fellow at the Eimei University of California.
