Urban Thinkers Campus: The City We Need – Open for Art

The Urban Thinkers Campus “The City We Need: Open for Art” will focus on the relationship between art, city life and urban environment.
Experts from all over the world are invited to discuss and define the role of art in urban contexts of contemporary society, and to try to incorporate it in the New Urban Agenda.
The structure of the meeting follows the UTC model, including constituent groups sessions, round tables and thematic debates. The Campus will also include performances and exhibitions, media sessions and different daily laboratories and activities – including an Urban Cinema session.
The UTC “The City We Need: Ope­n for Art” will also host an academic session dedicated to scholars and academics investigating the complex relation between art and the city. Academics are also invited to submit original papers.
