Abstract
This DISTant Talk will be a conversation between two researchers doing ground-breaking work in the field of gender and urban studies in the Global South. We seek to put a variety of perspectives in dialogue, questioning the gendered division between private (reproductive) vs public space (productive), the colonial disconnection between body and territory, and discussing the various strategies of resistance to reclaim urban public space for all.

DISTant Talks, season 2, is curated by DIST PhD students:
Allegra Eusebio, Karl Benjamin Kraehmer, Lorenzo Mauloni, Alessandra Mossa, Richard Lee Peragine, Caterina Pozzobon, Sofia Beatriz Rivera Garcia, Federica Rotondo, Saanchi Saxena, Elia Silvestro, Agostino Strina.
