Decolonial Urbanism. From eurocentric critique to decolonizing planning practices

h. 02:30-06:30 pm | Online

Decolonial thinking expresses a thought that questions relationships, inequalities and sociospatial conflicts, in order to transform them. It adops a relational perspective, focused on exchange processes between ‘differences’, this is to say, between different cultures, subjects, collectives, practices and knowledges allows a pluriverse to emerge. Reflections produced in the seminar allow a cross between urbanistic and decolonial knowledges problematizing traditional planning and research paradigms trying to re-define the sense and meaning of the Western Project.
