The seminar traces a research trajectory from community-managed public facilities in Barcelona to an emerging agenda on social infrastructure and just climate adaptation. It examines urban commons as spaces of social innovation and community resilience, their relationship with public administration, and the tensions and opportunities created through co-production. It then introduces a relational approach to social infrastructure, - open-access fixed points such as libraries and parks and discusses the conditions under which these spaces can support inclusive, community-based climate adaptation.
