Nonconforming Geographies. Rethinking Mental Health and Neurodiversity In Urban Spaces

The roundtable is organised by the Urban Theory Workshop (UTW) collective, is a platform committed to engaging with issues in the fields of critical urban studies and political ecology. It consists of a network of post-graduate and PhD students.
The roundtable is supported by PhD URD.

This roundtable explores the intersection of mental health, neurodiversity, and urban environments, challenging traditional spatial norms. Presentations examine post-asylum geographies as spaces of madness and care, corporate landscapes as sites of burnout and fatigue, and the experiences of neurodiverse individuals navigating urban spaces. Together, they offer critical insights into how urban geographies shape, and are shaped by, mental health and neurodiversity.
