Call for Papers for the Special Collection in City, Territory and Architecture on Resilient Urbanism: Navigating Sustainability and Community Dynamics
Editors Grazia Brunetta, Kavan Javanroodi, Guglielmina Mutani

Resilient urbanism encompasses a holistic approach to urban planning and development that seeks to integrate sustainability and community dynamics in the face of growing environmental, energy, economic, and social challenges. As cities around the world grapple with issues such as climate change and its associated extreme climate events, population growth, and social inequality, understanding how urban environments can be designed or transformed to be more resilient is crucial. The Collection highlights research on sustainable and resilient urban systems, community dynamics, and integrated approaches at the intersection of urban planning, architecture, energy, and climate adaptation.
