Hydrosocial Territories

The roundtable is organised by the Urban Theory Workshop (UTW) collective, is a platform committed to engaging with issues in the fields of critical urban studies and political ecology. It consists of a network of post-graduate and PhD students.
The roundtable is supported by PhD URD.

By engaging with the notion of pluriversality, this roundtable aims to look at water beyond the Western scientific paradigm and sanitized ideas, beyond formal/informal binary. Instead, it wishes to serve as a window to other knowledge, practices, engagements and relations with the element. It proposes grounded and site-specific understandings of the complex dynamics between water, people, institutions and territories.
