Prof. Dr. Eva-Maria Seng, Rector State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart
She is a German art historian and empirical cultural studies scholar. She focuses on tangible and intangible cultural heritage and is credited with establishing the field of cultural studies. She has developed an extensive academic career across Germany and Switzerland, culminating in her long-standing chair at the University of Paderborn, where she also founded and led the Centre of Excellence for Cultural Heritage. On behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, she established the State Office for Intangible Cultural Heritage NRW.
